Job summary

Harmony Early Education on the Gold Coast is seeking a Greenspace Officer to maintain and enhance outdoor learning spaces across our centres. This hands-on role focuses on safety, presentation and sustainability of outdoor environments.

You will manage gardens, lawns, playgrounds and equipment, collaborate with Centre Leaders, and help plan seasonal improvements. A current Driver’s Licence and a commitment to child safety are important.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping or horticulture.
• Maintains high presentation standards.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong safety and risk awareness.
• Willing to obtain WWCC in QLD and NSW.
• Formal qualifications in horticulture or landscaping are desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining gardens, lawns, playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces.
• General landscaping, mowing, pruning, mulching and weeding.
• Minor repairs and upkeep of outdoor equipment and fixtures.
• Ensuring all outdoor areas meet safety and compliance standards.
• Supporting seasonal garden planning and improvement projects.
• Liaising with Centre Leaders regarding outdoor needs.
• Managing tools, equipment and supplies responsibly.
