The University of Tasmania invites applications for the Associate Lecturer/Lecturer in Outdoor and Environmental Education. This role delivers high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across online and face-to-face modes, develops curriculum, and contributes to research aligned with the university’s mission.

Experience in Initial Teacher Education is highly regarded and the successful candidate will support teacher education, research and community engagement.

Formación

• A four-year tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience for level A.
• A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field for Level B.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching in bush, alpine, river, coastal or rock environments.
• Strong research record in Outdoor and Environmental Education for Level B.
• Ability to provide academic leadership and coordinate teaching across programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Education and related areas within ITE and non-ITE programs for Level A.
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Education and related areas within ITE and non-ITE programs for Level B.
• Lead curriculum design and continuous improvement of learning experiences to support student success.
• Coordinate and provide academic leadership to support teaching staff where required.
• Undertake high-quality research and publish findings to meet University performance expectations for Level A and B.
