The Great Aussie Bush Camp in Campaspe Downs, near Kyneton, is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a dedicated team and deliver memorable experiences for visiting schools. You’ll oversee accommodation, activities, hospitality, and daily operations with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a leader or supervisor in camps or outdoor education preferred.
• Strong, confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to stay organised and calm under pressure while juggling priorities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to be onsite during key delivery hours with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a diverse team across activities, maintenance, kitchen, and housekeeping.
• Create a positive, collaborative workplace for staff.
• Oversee day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring safety and quality.
• Serve as key liaison for onsite teachers with high-level communication.
• Ensure compliance, risk management and safety standards.
• Manage rostering, performance, and operational planning.
• Support financial oversight including budgets, CAPEX, and procurement.
• Help the centre evolve and grow as part of broader strategy.
