Job summary

Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School (PEGS) is seeking an Outdoor Education Teacher for a full-time ongoing role with a four-year tenure as Deputy Camp Manager, starting 25 January 2027 at the Eildon campus. You will deliver a comprehensive Outdoor Education program and support leadership, management and daily operations of the school’s camp operations.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification and VIT registration are essential.
• Outdoor Education qualification/experience in the activities offered is beneficial; ropes accreditation is an advantage.
• Commitment to child safety, student welfare, and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional Outdoor Education program and lead day-to-day operations of the Eildon campus.
• Support leadership, management and operation of the School's Outdoor Education camps.
• Foster teamwork, wellbeing and environmental appreciation among students.
