Job summary

BevChain, a BevChain division of Linfox, is hiring a Shift Manager based at Laverton, VIC. You will lead a high-performing warehouse team, drive safety, and ensure contracted outcomes are delivered on time and within cost.

This is a permanent, Monday–Friday day shift with site-wide responsibilities across outbound, inbound, loading and dispatch. You will work closely with Warehouse leadership to meet customer requirements, supervise Team Managers, and continually improve productivity and

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a large-scale warehouse or distribution centre.
• Experience leading supervisors or Team Managers (leading leaders).
• Strong ability to build and maintain high-performing teams and culture.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, KPIs and labour management.
• Strong safety mindset with a focus on compliance and risk management.
• Commercial and financial awareness, including labour cost control.
• Clear communication and influencing skills across a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Manage and allocate labour resources to ensure DC KPIs and service expectations are achieved.
• Oversee performance of Team Managers, driving accountability across their teams.
• Plan and roster labour to optimise productivity and meet volume requirements.
• Monitor operational performance and proactively address risks to service delivery.
• Maintain strong communication across warehouse, transport and customer teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards at all times.
