Job summary

BevChain, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Linfox, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Shift Lead to run the day-shift operations. You will provide leadership to the team, ensure safety, service and productivity, and partner with stakeholders to meet customer requirements.

You will oversee daily activities, manage labour rostering, monitor performance against KPIs and support continuous improvement, while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and WHS compliance.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in warehousing, logistics or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and WHS requirements.
• Experience managing labour, rosters, performance and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence in performance management and team development.
• Experience using WMS or SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer focus and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support the day-shift warehouse team.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations including picking, replenishment and loading.
• Manage labour planning, rosters and task allocation.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and operational KPIs.

What does the job look like?

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will lead the day-to-day warehouse operation across the day shift. You will provide hands-on leadership to the team, ensuring safety, service, productivity and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

You will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage labour and performance, and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure the shift runs smoothly. You will also play an important role in developing the team, maintaining accurate warehouse processes and supporting continuous improvement across the operation.
