Job summary

Tarkine Consulting Group is seeking a Sales Development Representative for a fast-growing Australian technology consulting firm building agentic AI solutions for enterprise. You will own outbound prospecting, from account research through to booked meetings, engaging senior executives and shaping early conversations about AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 12–24 months of hands-on outbound sales experience.
• Comfort initiating contact with senior executives.
• Strong written communication and a professional, articulate phone manner.
• Genuine organisation and CRM discipline.
• Resilience and coachability with outbound cadence.

Responsibilities

• Research target accounts and identify the right contacts to approach.
• Cold call, and LinkedIn and personalised email outreach, to senior operational and technology leaders, COO, CIO, transformation leads, operations leads and equivalent.
• Qualify prospects against a clear standard before booking a meeting.
• Book and confirm meetings and prepare the Founder with account research and briefing notes ahead of each one.
• Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and a disciplined follow-up cadence.
• Nurture prospects who are interested but not yet ready to engage.
