Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking an Associate in OTC Regulatory Reconciliation and Reporting within Market Operations, focusing on end-to-end trade reporting and reconciliations across OTC derivatives, FX and commodities. You will work with Front Office, Technology, Compliance and Legal to strengthen controls and regulatory adherence.

You will join a high-volume, deadline-driven team, contributing to process improvements, risk controls and escalation pathways while supporting client relationships

Qualifications

• Experience within global markets environment with some knowledge of global markets products and technology, focusing on derivative products and the Murex system.
• Experience in processing OTC Derivatives and financial markets products and related risks.
• Background in trade reporting, reconciliations or middle office functions including exception management, investigation, and data analysis.
• Proven ability to deliver in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• AFMA Accreditation advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily trade reporting and reconciliations across OTC derivatives, FX and Commodities.
• Monitor, investigate and resolve trade ingestion and reporting exceptions.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of reporting outputs.
• Perform root cause analysis and elevate issues in line with control frameworks.
• Maintain strong risk awareness with audit trails.
• Analyse transaction and reconciliation data to support daily operations and workflow performance.
• Management of internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations and ownership in procedural workflow and business changes.
