Job summary

Parratech is seeking a structured Heavy Haulage Logistics Coordinator to lead OSOM permit applications, route planning, and regulatory coordination for oversized transports across Australia. You will coordinate drivers, escorts, and utility teams, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of projects.

You will interact with clients, regulators, and internal staff while maintaining high safety and compliance standards and driving efficiency across complex routes and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy haulage, oversize/over-mass logistics coordination.
• Deep understanding of HVNL and OSOM permit frameworks.
• Ability to interpret maps, dimensions and technical drawings for route feasibility.
• Excellent multi-tasking with tight deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and liaison with drivers, clients and authorities.
• Proficiency with transport management systems (TMS) and GPS tools.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end OSOM permit applications via NHVR Portal.
• Plan routes and assess council restrictions for oversized assets.
• Coordinate third-party contractors, escorts, and utility clearance.
• Schedule drivers and monitor Fatigue Management & CoR compliance.
• Provide transport quotes, timelines, and real-time updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot route delays, breakdowns, or permit issues to minimize downtime.
• Serve as SME for onsite transport availability.
