Job summary

Googong OSHClub in Googong, NSW, is seeking a Service Manager to lead a large Outside School Hours Care service. The role focuses on strategic leadership, program quality and staff development, with 32.5 hours of dedicated out-of-ratio administration time and about 5.5 hours in-ratio time to stay connected with the team.

Competitive pay of 100,700 AUD TRP includes Educational Leader Allowance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader with a track record of leading large services.
• Working towards or completed the ACECQA-approved qualification for 2Year Qualified Educator in ACT.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
• Drive exceptional educational programs and foster continuous improvement.
• Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, ensuring National Quality Framework compliance.
• Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Oversee service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.
• Prepare the service for Assessment & Rating and maintain high-quality standards.
• Create a positive team culture where staff feel valued and inspired to grow.

Googong OSHClub is seeking a Service Manager to lead a large, established Outside School Hours Care service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who enjoys developing people, driving service quality and creating engaging programs for children.

Unlike many leadership roles, you'll receive 32.5 hours per week of dedicated out of ratio administration time, allowing you to focus on strategic leadership while remaining connected to your team through approximately 5.5 hours of in-ratio time.

About your new role

As the Service Manager, you'll lead the overall success of your service by:

• Leading, coaching and developing a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.


• Driving exceptional educational programs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


• Acting as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework.


• Building strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.


• Managing service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.


• Preparing your service for Assessment & Rating and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

About you

We're looking for an experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader who is ready to take ownership of a large, high-performing service.

You’ll have:

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin ACT in accordance withACECQA


• Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service


• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills


• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card


• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)


• National Police Check
