Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking a Mobile Coordinator to support Outside School Hours Care services across Canberra. You will travel between services, lead teams of Educators, and ensure high-quality program delivery and strong relationships with children, families, and schools.

This permanent full-time role is 38 hours per week with split shifts (Before School Care 6:00am–9:00am; After School Care 2:30pm–6:00pm).

Qualifications

• Working towards or completed ACECQA qualification.
• Experience leading OSHC teams, childcare, education, or similar.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (Gecko).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between services.
• Availability to work split shifts Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring teams of Educators across services.
• Delivering engaging programs including sports, STEM, creative arts, cooking, and wellbeing activities.
• Managing compliance, safety, and operational standards.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, schools, and team members.
• Supporting services to achieve strong quality and assessment outcomes.
• Assisting with roster management, administration, and program planning.

About the Role

As a Mobile Coordinator, you’ll never be bored - every day brings new experiences, different teams to support, and opportunities to make an impact across our services. You’ll travel between services, stepping in where support is needed most, leading teams, maintaining high-quality program delivery, and creating positive experiences for children, families, and educators.

Qualifications

About You

You are a confident and adaptable leader who enjoys supporting teams and creating meaningful experiences for children.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a First QualifiedEducatorin ACT in accordance with ACECQA
• Experience leading teams in OSHC, childcare, education, or a similar environment
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A current and valid Working with Children Check
• A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between services
• Availability to work split shifts Monday to Friday
• A passion for creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments for children
