Job summary

YMCA South Australia is seeking an OSHC Service Director to lead our team at Clapham Primary School OSHC. This part-time role offers 31 hours per week and focuses on delivering high-quality care and development for children.

You will guide educators, promote best practices, and ensure a supportive environment that fosters social, emotional and interpersonal growth, while maintaining strong community partnerships and program quality.

Qualifications

• OSHC experience or equivalent (Required).
• HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting.
• RRHAN-EC Training certificate (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect).
• National Child Safety Training (Foundation and Advanced).
• Tertiary Qualification in Children’s Services (Desirable).
• Strong leadership experience with staff training, quality improvement and maintaining service standards (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead OSHC team at Clapham Primary School OSHC.
• Deliver high-quality care, recreation and education programs.
• Inspire continuous learning and professional development among educators.
• Maintain high service standards with emphasis on children’s social, emotional and interpersonal development.
