Job summary

YMCA Brisbane Canberra is seeking an OSHC Program Coordinator for a six-month contract. You will lead a dedicated team of educators, develop engaging, child-led programs and play a key role in building inclusive, vibrant communities.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, safety and high-quality service while fostering strong connections with families, schools and the local community to create a safe space for children to grow and thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of educators in childcare or after-school programs.
• Ability to develop engaging, child-led OSHC activities.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements for childcare.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day OSHC operations and ensure high-quality care for children.
• Mentor and support educators to maintain a positive, collaborative team.
