Job summary

C2C Recruitment Group Pty Ltd in Cairns, Far North Queensland, seeks an OSHC Nominated Supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure high-quality, inclusive programs. You will mentor educators, oversee compliance, and drive continuous improvement of the service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (required).
• 1–2 years' relevant industry experience in Early Childhood or OSHC.
• Proven leadership experience as a Nominated Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MTOP Framework, NQS and Education and Care Regulations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Well-developed organisational and administrative skills.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, and Child Protection training.
• Willingness to complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive programs aligned with MTOP and regulatory standards.
• Oversee operational, educational and compliance requirements under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
• Develop and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and drive continuous improvement.
• Build partnerships with children, families, local communities and stakeholders.
• Supervise and support staff, including recruitment and performance management.
• Provide strong team leadership, mentoring and ongoing support to educators.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for children, families, staff and visitors.
• Maintain safeguarding, WHS and child protection practices.
• Manage enrolments, fee management, reporting and day-to-day service administration.
• Ensure the service operates effectively with high quality standards.
