Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking a compassionate OSHC Coordinator for a permanent part-time role (30 hours weekly, Mon–Fri, morning and afternoon shifts) in Sydney. You will ensure a safe, inclusive environment for staff and children, manage attendance and bookings, and support engaging educational programs with reflective practices.

• Hold a certificate of training in Child Protection.
• Full first-aid certificate.
• Hold an NSW Working with Children check.

Responsibilities

• Be the responsible person for the service.
• Provide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environment.
• Maintain children's attendance and casual bookings schedules to ensure child safety and supervision.
• Support the design and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals.
• Create opportunities to share children’s participation and engagement in programs with families.
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community.

The Role

With a genuine passion for childcare, you will be compassionate, and friendly and possess the ability to interact with children positively and productively.

This is a Permanent Part-time role 30 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Morning and afternoon split shifts)

About You

To be successful you will have:

• Hold a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards
• Previous work experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
• Hold a certificate of training in Child Protection
• Full first-aid certificate
• Hold an NSW Working with Children check
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECKKO
