Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking a dedicated childcare professional to lead and support OSHC services. You will work as part of a collaborative team to ensure a safe, engaging program for children in our service.

Key requirements include a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care, OSHC experience, and child-safety training. We offer professional development, competitive Above Award salary, and strong career progression in a values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Hold a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards.
• Previous work experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• Hold a certificate of training in Child Protection.
• Full first-aid certificate.
• Hold an NSW Working with Children check.
• Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO.

Responsibilities

• Be the responsible person for the service
• Provide a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environment
• Maintain children's attendance and casual bookings schedules to ensure child safety and supervision
• Support the design and implement engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals
• Create opportunities to share children’s participation and engagement in programs with families
• Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community

The Role
