Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking energetic Educators to join the YMCA Regents Park Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays.

As an Educator you’ll supervise and engage children during Before & After School sessions, run or assist with Vacation Care activities, and foster wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Blue Card (Paid) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.
