Job summary

The YMCA Queensland is recruiting energetic Educators to join the Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help provide a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during holidays, with a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities.

Join a not-for-profit organisation focused on community well-being, with opportunities for training, support, and professional development for Educators.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Experience in supervising or engaging children is beneficial.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play

Education

Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar
