Job summary

The Y Australia is recruiting energetic Educators to join the Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis at Burleigh Heads, Queensland. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during school holidays.

Role involves supervising children, supporting a range of activities, and promoting wellbeing and confidence through play. A Cert III/ Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent, First Aid/CPR, and Blue Card are

Qualifications

• Hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.
