Job summary

YMCA Queensland is hiring energetic Educators to join our Bald Hills Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during school holidays.

With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity. You’ll supervise and engage children during Before & After School sessions, help with Vacation Care

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play
