Job summary

PCYC Queensland in Redland Bay invites applications for an Outside School Hours Care Educator to join our Fun Squad. The role focuses on safe, inclusive, and engaging activities for children, working as a team to deliver high-quality, fun programs with children.

Remuneration ranges from $37.55 to $45.56 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience, with not-for-profit salary packaging and other benefits such as gym membership and EAP. Shortlisting is immediate; apply now.

Qualifications

• No formal Qualifications are prerequisite for this position.
• Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.
• Experience working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector (desirable).
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) (desirable).

We are currently seeking a passionate and keen outside School Hours Care (Fun Squad) Educator to join our PCYC Redland Bay Fun Squad. If you enjoy having fun, are enthusiastic and love working with children, then we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for interacting with and effectively supervising the children while working as a team to deliver a high-quality and seriously fun programs with children. About You

• No formal Qualifications are prerequisite for this position
• Qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children. A range of study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation and human welfare studies. • Experience working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector (desirable)
• Ability to respond to the needs of children to ensure high quality fun meets agreed standards
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) (desirable)
