Job summary

PCYC Queensland in Atherton seeks a passionate Fun Squad Service Manager to lead and oversee the service, ensuring safe operations and strong stakeholder relationships. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will drive a culture of safety and belonging while aligning with PCYC values and government requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in childhood studies or Certificate III with progression toward Diploma.
• Working with Children Check/Blue Card or ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation for FunSquad operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fun Squad service to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to strengthen PCYC brand.
• Inspire a safe, supportive culture and supervise a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure safe service delivery in line with National Quality Framework and policies.

AboutYou

• QualifiedService Managers require minimum Diploma in childhood studiesor other qualifications recognised by the regulatoryauthority
• UnqualifiedService Managers require minimum Certificate III in childhoodstudies or other qualifications recognised by the regulatoryauthority AND working towards a Diploma in childhood studies orother qualifications recognised by the regulatoryauthority
• Must hold one ofthe following child protection certificate CHCPRT025 - Identifyand report children and young people at risk, CHCPRT026 -Support the rights and safety of children and young people orCHCECE057 - Use collaborative practices to uphold childprotection principles
• Ability to takeon responsibility of Nominated supervisor
• Demonstratedknowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing FunSquad operations
• Demonstratedexperience in leading and managing a multidisciplinary FunSquad team
• Hold a Workingwith Children Check/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
• Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
