Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an OSHC Coordinator in Wheeler Heights, Sydney, to lead a team of passionate Educators and manage an after-school program for children aged 5-12. The role is permanent, part-time, with 23 hours per week including 8 paid admin hours, scheduled 1:00-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will oversee staffing, ensure compliance, and mentor staff with regional support to grow leadership skills and make a real impact on children’s wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• Natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
• Willingness to obtain a national police check (we will cover)
• State Working with Children Check
• Australian working rights
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Educators for a before- and after-school program.
• Oversee roster, day-to-day operations and admin tasks.
• Ensure program is child-centered with engaging activities (STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts).

About the role

As an OSHClub Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

• You’ll create and lead a dynamic, child-centered program, filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts—all designed to inspire and engage.
• You’ll take full ownership of your team’s roster, manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and handle admin tasks—all while fostering an environment of teamwork and growth.
• With mentorship from regional managers and support from a dedicated office team, you’ll have everything you need to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact.
