Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking a dedicated Coordinator to lead an after-school care service at McAuley Catholic Primary School, Rose Bay. You will nurture a collaborative team, engage positively with children, and uphold Catholic values in daily leadership.

The role is permanent, full-time, with focus on a single block shift per week, offering Not-for-Profit advantages and career progression within a supportive network.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Current First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, inclusive space where every child and staff member is welcome and respected.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and bookings for supervision and safety.
• Supervise and mentor educators to build confidence and capability.
• Design and deliver engaging educational programs with thoughtful observations.
• Support the Catholic mission and ethos in daily leadership.
• Build positive relationships with families, the school and community.

Join our team as a high-performing Coordinator and take the lead at an established and flourishing After School Care service located on the grounds of McAuley Catholic Primary School, Rose Bay. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant and supportive community.

About You

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Proven experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC).
• Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
• Is reliable, organised, and enthusiastic
• Certification in Child Protection Training.
• Current First Aid Certificates, including CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management.
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check.
