Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHC Coordinator to lead the service in the Hocking area, creating a safe, welcoming environment for children aged 5-12. You will manage a team of Educators, build relationships with families and the school community, and deliver engaging activities before- and after-school.

The role is permanent part-time, 33 hours per week with 4 hours of paid non-contact administration time.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in guiding a team and developing others.
• Willing to obtain a national police check (covered by us).
• State Working-with-Children Check.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).

• Own roster, manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and handle admin tasks.

Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate OSHC Coordinator to lead our service in the Hocking area and create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

This is a permanent part-time role offering 33 hours per week, including 4 hours of paid non-contact administration time.

You’ll work Monday to Friday across our before and after school care programs:

Rise then Shine: 6:30am – 8:30am
Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm

As Coordinator, you’ll lead a team of dedicated Educators, build strong relationships with children, families and the school community, and bring fun, creativity and care into each day. About the role

As an OSHClub Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

• You’ll create and lead a dynamic, child-centered program, filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts—all designed to inspire and engage.
• You’ll take full ownership of your team’s roster, manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and handle admin tasks—all while fostering an environment of teamwork and growth.
• With mentorship from regional managers and support from a dedicated office team, you’ll have everything you need to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact.

Qualifications

• A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
• State working-with-children check
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold or be actively working towards a relevant ACECQA-recognised qualification, such as:

• WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WAin accordance with ACECQA
• WA Qualified Educator - Working towards or have completed a relevant qualification to work as a Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
