Job summary

St Anthony's Outside School Hours Care, Alexandra Hills, is seeking a passionate Coordinator for a six-month maternity leave contract commencing December/January. You will lead an established team delivering Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care for up to 150 children, creating safe, inclusive, and engaging programs.

The role emphasises building strong relationships with children, families and the school community, while ensuring compliance with ACECQA/NQF guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA-equivalent.
• Blue Card Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• Willingness to act as Nominated Supervisor.
• Completion of National Child Training via Geckko.
• Understanding of NQF, NQS and My Time Our Place.
• Experience leading/managing a childcare/OSHC service.
• Current child protection training.
• Proficiency with childcare management systems; Xplor preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire an established team of educators to deliver high-quality care and engaging programs.
• Foster relationships with families, school community and parish.
• Oversee daily operations ensuring regulatory compliance and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance children's experiences.
• Support planning and delivery of BSC, ASC and VAC programs reflecting children's interests and needs.
• Champion belonging, collaboration and excellence across the service.
