Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking an OSHClub Coordinator at Thirlmere OSHClub to lead a team of Educators and oversee a before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years.

This permanent, full-time role offers 38 hours per week, including 10.5 paid admin hours, with split shifts 6:30-9:00am and 2:30-6:00pm, enabling work-life balance and opportunities for growth within JAG.

Qualifications

  • A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check.
  • State working-with-children check.
  • Australian working rights.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)

Responsibilities

  • Lead a dynamic, child-centered before- and after-school program for 5–12 year olds.
  • Oversee roster, day-to-day operations, compliance and admin tasks.
  • Provide mentorship with regional managers and support from an office team.
  • Foster teamwork and growth while delivering engaging activities (STEM, sports, arts, etc.).

Job Description

Join us at Thirlmere OSHClub, as an OSHC Coordinator and lead a team of passionate Educators while making a real impact on the lives of children!This permanent, full time role offers38 hours per week, including 10.5 non-contact paid admin hours.You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday: 6:30-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:30-6:00pm (Stay and Play).

About the role

As an OSHClub Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

  • You’ll create and lead a dynamic, child-centered program, filled with exciting activities like STEM, sports, cooking, arts and crafts—all designed to inspire and engage.
  • You’ll take full ownership of your team’s roster, manage day-to-day operations, ensure compliance, and handle admin tasks—all while fostering an environment of teamwork and growth.
  • With mentorship from regional managers and support from a dedicated office team, you’ll have everything you need to develop your leadership skills and make a real impact.
