Junior Adventures Group is seeking casual staff to support OSHC programs for primary school children on the Gold Coast. The role offers morning and afternoon splits around university timetables and family commitments, with extra hours in school holidays.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in childcare, with paid training and clear progression paths to Coordinator roles. Competitive hourly rates ($33–$47) plus super, plus an additional $21 per day for split shifts, and employee benefits such as

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• Must be available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
