Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking individuals to join the OSHC team at Helping Hands Pimpama. You will help create exciting, engaging experiences for primary school children while working around university timetables and commitments. Shifts include morning and afternoon blocks with split-shift incentives.

Qualifications

• Desirable: pursuing or completing a relevant educator qualification to ACECQA guidelines.
• Complete National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding.
• Available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.

Pick up shifts across the services open hours:

• Morning Shift: 6:00am - 9:00am Monday - Friday (Rise then Shine Program)
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 6:00pm Monday - Friday (Stay and Play Program)

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

While we’re happy to provide training and guidance in the role and sector, here are a few qualities we’re looking for:

• Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• Must be available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities.
• Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check.
• Must have valid Australian work rights.
