Job summary

Gowrie NSW Barramurra is seeking a committed leader to guide Educators in a safe, play-based OSHC environment. You will model and coach high-quality practices, collaborate with families and school partners, and uphold child safety and program standards.

The role emphasizes effective communication, team leadership, and strong compliance oversight to ensure an engaging, inclusive service for children and families.

Qualifications

  • Certificate III or Diploma in childhood education.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Experience managing compliance and administrative requirements.
  • Team player with a creative and energetic approach.
  • Valid compliance certificates (WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid).
  • COVID-19 vaccination: two doses and readiness for booster.

Responsibilities

Availability to work Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon shifts) as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.

Your leadership will engage the passion of our Educators by providing them with guidance and coaching in exceeding practices. Your excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to interact with school representatives, children and their families will be key to your success.

You will be responsible for compliance and exceeding practices of the service.

Above all, your genuine interest in supporting little and big people to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have a Certificate III or Diploma in childhood education
  • Have previous leadership experience
  • Have experience managing compliance and administrative requirements
  • Are a team player with a creative and energetic approach
  • Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
  • Have two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster shots)
