Job summary

Gowrie NSW is a not-for-profit OSHC service focused on creating a safe, play-based environment where children thrive and participate actively. We value a friendly team dynamic and seek individuals who share this philosophy to join our committed team.

Your role involves supporting young learners with excellent communication, helping them grow, and maintaining safety and compliance in daily activities, including some paperwork, cleaning, and food prep.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Monday to Thursday afternoon shifts as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.
• Have a passion for working with children
• Preferably have Certificate III or Diploma (Children’s Services) or are working towards this or a similar qualification
• Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing learning environment for the children in our care and support their growth.
• Ensure compliance and safety requirements are met; do paperwork and assist with cleaning and food preparation.
