Job summary

Gowrie NSW Barramurra is seeking an experienced leader to guide our Educators in delivering safe, play-based learning for children and families. You will coach staff, oversee compliance, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Your role focuses on building strong relationships with schools and families, ensuring high engagement and program quality while driving Gowrie NSW’s inclusive, not-for-profit mission.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in an education setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
• Experience managing compliance and administrative requirements.
• Team oriented with a creative and energetic approach.
• Valid compliance certificates (WWCC, First Aid, etc.).
• Two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination with willingness to comply with boosters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Educators to deliver high-quality, play-based programs.

Availability to work Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon shifts) as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have a Certificate III or Diploma in childhood education
• Have previous leadership experience
• Have experience managing compliance and administrative requirements
• Are a team player with a creative and energetic approach
• Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
• Have two doses of approved COVID-19 vaccination, with the willingness to comply with additional health requirements (including booster shots)
