Job summary

The Y Australia is seeking an Assistant Coordinator for the Edens Landing Outside School Hours Care program on a permanent part-time basis. You will support the Coordinator, lead programming and guide a dedicated team to deliver safe, fun, and enriching care for children.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily running of the service.
• Assist with child-led, play-based programming.
• Provide guidance to educators and staffing support.
• Maintain compliance and support administration processes.
• Engage positively with children, families, schools and the local community.
