Job summary

Strikeforce, representing Origin, is seeking an energetic Origin Sales Representative for the Gold Coast region. This full-time, field-based role involves visiting businesses, building relationships, and delivering energy solutions to help customers reduce costs.

You will manage a territory, generate leads, present Origin products, and strive to exceed targets while enjoying a structured training, coaching, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals.
• Present Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets.

This is not your typical desk job. As an Origin Sales Representative, you’ll enjoy the freedom of a field-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll be out meeting business owners face-to-face, building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and making a real impact while being backed by one of Australia’s most recognised energy brands!

Start date flexible for the right candidate.

• $74,500 base salary + uncapped commission + super (OTE $99,000 + super)
• Monday – Friday 9:00- 5:30 role only – enjoy your weekends!

About the role:

Reporting to Sales Team Leader, as an Origin Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth across your allocated territory by identifying new opportunities and helping small businesses find the right energy solutions for their needs.

This is a fulltime field based role.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline
• Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
• Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Growing Origin's market share within your territory
• Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
• Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale

You are:

• Confident speaking with people face-to-face
• Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
• Comfortable working independently in a field environment
• Energetic, proactive, and self-driven
• Organised with strong communication skills

To be successful, you will need:

• A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)
• Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded)
• Strong objection-handling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
