Job summary

QIC Limited in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM specialist to shape our People & Culture technology journey. This role goes beyond traditional support, focusing on implementing and optimising Oracle HCM solutions such as HR Help Desk, Case Management, Knowledge Management and OTBI reporting.

Reporting to the P&C System team, you will drive the Oracle optimisation roadmap, improve employee and manager experiences, and maximise value from our Oracle investment.

Qualifications

• In-depth hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud experience (5+ years).
• Strong OTBI reporting and dashboards development.
• Experience configuring workflows, approvals and business processes.
• End-to-end implementation experience from requirements through go-live.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to map business processes to system processes and write comprehensive test cases.
• Autonomous, process-driven and collaborative.
• Experience with HR operations and cyclical programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Oracle, vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and optimise platform.
• Keep abreast of Oracle Cloud product functionality and roadmaps; promote enhancements within the Oracle community.
• Support end-to-end testing of cyclical processes for P&C initiatives.
• Monitor approval workflows and integrations.
• Maintain job role security in line with segregation of duties.
• Triage Level 2 functional queries and raise SRs to resolution.
• Maintain non-production environments for testing and development.
• Configure updates in Visual Builder Toolset or HCM Design Studio.
• Assess new functionality against business requirements; partner with SMEs.
• Governance across configuration workbooks and documentation; support quarterly releases and patches.
• Lead P&C technology improvements as a functional expert; drive process optimisation.
• Maintain relationships with finance and technology for an integrated solution.
