Job summary

QIC is seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM specialist to shape the next phase of our People & Culture technology journey in Brisbane. You will implement and optimise Oracle HCM solutions, with a focus on HR Help Desk, Case Management, Knowledge Management and OTBI reporting, translating business needs into practical, scalable outcomes.

Reporting into the P&C System team, you will drive the optimisation roadmap, improve employee and manager experiences, and maximise value from our Oracle

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud experience.
• Experience with HR Help Desk, Case Management, Knowledge Management and OTBI reporting.
• End-to-end Oracle HCM implementations and optimisations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration with HR and IT.
• Ability to document business processes and map to system processes.
• Experience assessing change impacts and supporting adoption.
• Autonomous, process-driven and disciplined in delivery.
• Multi-country implementation or support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Resolve system issues and optimise platform capability with Oracle, vendors and internal teams.
• Keep abreast of Oracle Cloud functionality and promote enhancements via Oracle Customer Connect.
• Support end-to-end testing of cyclical processes for P&C initiatives.
• Monitor approval workflows and integrations.
• Maintain job role security in line with segregation of duties.
• Triage Level 2 functional queries and manage SRs through to resolution.
• Maintain non-production environments for testing, development and bug fixes.
• Configure Visual Builder Toolset or HCM Design Studio for updates.
• Assess and test new functionality with SMEs to determine uptake.
• Coordinate monthly patching with third-party support vendor and regression tests.
• Lead transformation and optimisation of Oracle HCM, including HR modules and future deployments.
• Collaborate with finance and technology to ensure an integrated solution.
