Job summary

Department of Health Victoria is seeking a Functional Support Analyst to ensure the smooth operation, maintenance and user support of Oracle E-Business Suite across finance, procurement and supply chain modules within the Victorian Public Health Services.

You will monitor system performance, triage issues, log and manage incidents, and coordinate with technical teams to implement fixes. Strong ITSM experience and knowledge of health service workflows are essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in IT or health IT sector experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of IT service management.
• Experience using and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain).
• Understanding Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, General Ledger and Financial Reporting.
• Experience supporting application testing: system, regression, release validation, UAT.
• Experience creating knowledge articles and user documentation.
• Experience coordinating issue resolution with stakeholders, vendors and support teams.
• Understanding Victorian public health sector and digital procurement/supply chain workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Oracle E-Business Suite; finance, procurement and supply chain modules.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate timely resolution with technical teams.
• Log, track and manage incidents and service requests.
• Research issues and perform root cause analysis; recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and teams to implement fixes.
• Perform initial investigation, analysis and triage of application issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides and user documentation.
• Participate in testing activities for enhancements, patches, upgrades, and releases.
• Build relationships with health service representatives, vendors and stakeholders.
