Job summary

The Victorian Department of Health seeks a Functional Support Analyst to maintain and support Oracle E-Business Suite finance, procurement and supply chain modules. You will resolve user issues, monitor systems, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery within health services workflows.

Responsibilities include incident management, root cause analysis, and developing knowledge materials.

Qualifications

• Tertiary IT qualification or relevant Health IT experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of ITSM.
• Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite Finance/Procurement/Inventory/Supply Chain.
• Understanding of P2P, AP, Inventory, GL and Financial Reporting processes.
• Experience in application testing (system/regression) and UAT.
• Experience creating knowledge articles and support procedures.
• Experience coordinating issue resolution with stakeholders and vendors.
• Understanding health sector operating environment and digital systems for procurement and supply chain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends and prevent recurrence.
• Experience in ITSM tools for incident and service request management.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Oracle E-Business Suite finance, procurement and supply chain modules.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
• Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and teams to implement fixes.
• Perform initial investigation and triage of application issues and determine business impact.
• Develop and maintain knowledge articles, guides and user documentation.
• Participate in testing activities for enhancements, patches, upgrades and releases.
• Build relationships with health service representatives and stakeholders to ensure service quality.
• Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotations as required.
