Job summary

Bailey Nelson in North Lakes is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team and elevate the customer experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager and Optometrist to ensure smooth operations from eye tests to frame dispensing, while taking ownership of the store part of the week.

The role offers hands-on training in optical dispensing and leadership, with clear opportunities for internal progression as the brand expands across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or optics at supervisor or management level.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Customer-focused with a passion for service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Optometrist to deliver a seamless customer journey from eye test to frame selection and dispense.
• Take ownership of the store 2 days a week, leading the team and driving performance.
• Keep the appointment book running smoothly and ensure every customer interaction feels easy and enjoyable.
• Coach and support your team to deliver great service, every time.
