Job summary

Downer is seeking multiple experienced Operators to join our Water Pipelines Division in Victoria, delivering water main renewal projects within a small, skilled team.

This permanent opportunity offers EBA rates, Monday–Friday work with a monthly RDO, ongoing training, and strong health and safety initiatives within an ASX-listed company.

Qualifications

• Construction Induction card (White Card) required.
• Current driver’s license (Light Rigid or above).
• First Aid & CPR certifications required.
• Class B Asbestos Removalist Qualifications desirable.
• Experience in water/utilities industry.
• Experience operating plant and equipment (excavators, bobcats).
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Commitment to Zero Harm safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment for water main renewal projects as part of a small team.
• Contribute to site safety and efficiency on worksites.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in line with company policies.
• Engage in ongoing training and mentoring opportunities.

About the Role

We are currently looking for multiple experienced Operators to join our Water Pipelines Division completing multiple water main renewal projects as part of a small, skilled team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Construction Induction card (White Card)
• A current driver's licence of Light Rigid or above
• Current First Aid & CPR certifications
• Class B Asbestos Removalist Qualifications (highly desirable)
• Proven experience working in the water / utilities industry
• Experience with operating plant and equipment such as excavators, bobcats etc.
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• A strong commitment to our Zero Harm safety culture
