Job summary

Downer Group in Australia is seeking multiple experienced Operators to join our Water Pipelines Division, completing water main renewal projects as part of a small, skilled team.

You will hold a White Card, a valid Light Rigid or higher licence, First Aid/CPR, and ideally Class B Asbestos Removalist qualifications; relevant water/utilities experience and plant operating skills are essential; we value safety and offer ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Construction Induction card (White Card) holder required.
• Valid Light Riged or higher driver's licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Class B Asbestos Removalist qualifications desirable.
• Proven experience in water/utilities sector.
• Experience operating plant/equipment ( excavators, bobcats ).
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Commitment to Zero Harm safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Join Water Pipelines Division to complete water main renewal projects.
• Work in a small, skilled team with ongoing training and mentoring.
