Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Operator for Warehouse & Distribution Operations in Australia. Join a global eye health leader and contribute to receiving, storing, and dispatching products with focus on safety and quality. You’ll work with WMS, handle equipment, and maintain accurate records in a dynamic distribution environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in warehousing, basic computer skills, and a strong attention to detail. A forklift licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
• Put away stock into designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Perform stock replenishment and inventory transfers.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock takes.
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (where licensed).
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization according to 5S standards.
• Ensure products are appropriately labelled and handled.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Use required PPE at all times.
• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
• Comply with GMP/GxP, quality, and company procedures where applicable.
• Complete receiving, shipping, and inventory records accurately.
• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Material Handling
