Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Mulgrave distribution team in Australia. You will support inventory control, order fulfillment, and safe warehouse operations in a fast-paced, GMP/GxP-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, put-away, order picking, packing, and coordinating stock transfers with careful attention to accuracy and safety. Forklift operation may be required for licensed candidates.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Ability to safely manually handle materials.
• Basic computer skills and inventory system knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments; put away stock.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch; inventory transfers.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock takes; report discrepancies.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks) where licensed.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness; ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Complete receiving, shipping, and inventory records in the WMS.
