Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an Operator for the Auburn Transfer Station in NSW. The role is a permanent full-time afternoon shift (2PM start) Monday to Friday with weekend work available.

You will work hands-on with forklifts and other heavy machinery, assist drivers and customers with load placement, and handle waste loading and movement while upholding safety procedures. Ideal candidates have plant operator tickets, good mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety.

The Opportunity

This hands‑on role is ideal for someone heavy machinery experience keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment. Some of the responsibilities are as below.
