Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an Operator for our Artarmon transfer station in NSW. The role is permanent full-time with a 41.48 per hour rate. You will operate heavy machinery, stage trucks, and support safe, efficient waste handling processes close to the local environment.

Ideal candidates hold Excavator/Loader/Forklift tickets and a current HC Licence, with a strong work ethic. You will collaborate with drivers and teams, with opportunities for development within a leading Australian waste-management

• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Staging trucks and trailers for loading and quick hitching.
• Quick hitching when a prime mover drops and empties a trailer and hitches to a full trailer quickly.
• Using a backhoe to dig out overweight trailers.
• Cleaning behind the packer units.
• Communicating the tipping locations to drivers.
• Ensuring the tipping destinations are evenly shared across drivers.

Opportunity
