BlueScope Steel Limited is hiring Operators for our Wingfield, SA processing and logistics team. Join a permanent operations role with afternoon shifts, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development.

Expect to learn machinery operation, warehousing tasks, and safety practices in a collaborative environment. The entry level remuneration starts at $33.18/hr with a shift loading, and the company supports health, wellbeing and an inclusive culture.

The Opportunity

Our Service Centre is looking for Operators in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

We are excited to be offering multipleopportunities for permanent operations team members for our Wingfieldplant.Whether you have steel industry experience or not, we are seeking individuals who are keen to further their skills in manufacturing. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of thisOperator role allowing for future career development opportunities.

Opportunities exist on afternoon shift Working Monday – Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 11am-5pm, withovertime eligibility.

he entry level remuneration starts at $33.18/hr = $65,566 per annum, there is also addition shift loading of $348 per fortnight ($9,048 per annum).

What Will You Do?

As an Operator you will work in a continuousproductionenvironment. Your role will be to operatemachinery or work in warehousing to create smarter solutions for our customers, whilemonitoring product quality andremaining committed toyour own safety and that of your team.Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll receive ongoing training and support. You will:

• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
• operating machinery to manufacturesteel product
• safely pack and strap our steel products
• performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
• be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts

Recruitment Process

• completing an online safety assessment (approx. 10 minutes)
• attending anin person interview and site tour
• prior to commencing, you will be required to successfully complete pre-employment medical (including a urine drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks.
