BlueScope Distribution Pty is hiring Operators for our Wingfield, SA site. Join a manufacturing team on afternoon shifts to learn all aspects of our processing and logistics operations. Ongoing training supports your skill development and career progression in a safe, inclusive workplace.

Starting remuneration is $33.18 per hour, with shift loading; overtime eligibility is available as part of a permanent role. We encourage diverse applicants and provide PPE and a uniform.

Qualifications

• Entry level role with training provided in manufacturing operations.
• Open to applicants with or without steel industry experience.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a continuous production environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate machinery to manufacture steel products and support warehousing tasks.
• Monitor product quality and apply safety procedures.
• Pack and strap finished goods and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Work with overhead cranes and drive forklifts as required.
• Maintain a collaborative, safe team environment.

The Opportunity

Our Service Centre is looking for Operators in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

We are excited to be offering multipleopportunities for permanent operations team members for our Wingfieldplant.Whether you have steel industry experience or not, we are seeking individuals who are keen to further their skills in manufacturing. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of thisOperator role allowing for future career development opportunities.

Opportunities exist on afternoon shift Working Monday – Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 11am-5pm, withovertime eligibility.

he entry level remuneration starts at $33.18/hr = $65,566 per annum, there is also addition shift loading of $348 per fortnight ($9,048 per annum).

What Will You Do?

As an Operator you will work in a continuousproductionenvironment. Your role will be to operatemachinery or work in warehousing to create smarter solutions for our customers, whilemonitoring product quality andremaining committed toyour own safety and that of your team.Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll receive ongoing training and support. You will:

• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
• operating machinery to manufacturesteel product
• safely pack and strap our steel products
• performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
• be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts

Recruitment Process
