BlueScope Distribution in Eagle Farm, QLD is seeking a Machine Operator to join our warehouse operations. You will operate processing machinery such as a slitter or shear line, monitor quality, and contribute to a safe, efficient team.

This full-time role offers a competitive weekly rate starting from $1,310.24 pre-tax, plus superannuation, with overtime, public holiday pay, and a quarterly bonus. Shifts run five days a week, with day and afternoon options.

The Opportunity

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Machine Operator to join the warehouse operations team based in Eagle Farm, QLD. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

This opportunity will see you operate processing machinery, for example slitter or shear line to process orders for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Machine Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

These full-time, permanent roles offer a competitive weekly rate (pre-tax) starting from $1,310.24 (not including loading or allowances), plus superannuation. You’ll also be eligible for overtime, public holiday pay and quarterly bonus. Our operations run 5 days a week, with opportunities across day and afternoon shifts. Afternoon shift attracts a 20% shift loading allowance.

Shift times include:

• Afternoon shift: 2:00pm - 10:00 pm

As a valued member of our Eagle Farm team, you will:

• operate machinery to process orders for our customers
• operate remote gantry cranes and forklifts
• accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
