Job summary

Adbri Cement is seeking a proactive operator to join the cement production team in a rotating 12-hour shift pattern (2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off). The role involves ensuring optimum operation of production assets, completing critical checks, and meeting safety, environment, quality and production targets.

You will work under the Production Supervisor, engage in multi-skill training across plant isolation, permit issuing, kiln and cement mill processing, central control room operations,

Responsibilities

• Pre-empt potential problem areas using initiative and problem solving.
• Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to minimise plant delays.
• Cross-skill across plant processes including isolation, permits, kiln and cement mill operations, and ship loading procedures.
• Follow daily Operation Plans and site procedures to maintain standards.
• Operate heavy mobile equipment safely and in compliance with policies.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working employee to join our inclusive Adbri Cement production team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor on a rotating 12-hour shift roster (2 days on, 2 nights on, then 4 days off) you will be responsible for ensuring the optimum operation of production assets, completing critical plant checks within site procedures, and ensuring safety, environment, quality and production targets are met. Responsibilities

• Use initiative and problem-solving skills to pre-empt potential problem areas.
• Work with the Production Supervisor and other team members to respond to operating plant issues and ensure plant delays are minimised.
• Engage in training to multi-skill to enable the operator to work in all operational aspects including plant isolation's, permit issuing, kiln and cement mill processing, central control room operations and ship loading procedures.
• Comply with daily Operation Plans
• Ensure operational standards, policies and procedures are followed.
• Safely operate heavy mobile equipment
