Adbri Limited is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our cement manufacturing operation in South Australia. You will drive safety, environmental compliance, production, maintenance, quality, cost control and team leadership to deliver reliable plant performance.

You will implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead capital planning, and foster a culture of safety, accountability and collaboration across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing operational performance including safety, production, quality, cost and asset reliability in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership experience with demonstrated ability to build, develop and lead high-performing teams.
• Sound understanding of asset management, maintenance strategies and plant reliability principles.
• Financial and commercial acumen with experience managing operational budgets.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our cement manufacturing operation at Angaston, South Australia. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer Cement, you'll be responsible for the operational performance of the plant – from safety and environmental compliance through to production, maintenance and process engineering, quality management, cost management, and team leadership. You'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration across the site.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You’re an experienced operations leader with a strong track record in heavy industry, manufacturing, processing, mining, cement or related industrial operations. You combine technical knowledge with exceptional people leadership skills and a genuine commitment to safety and operational excellence. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience managing operational performance including safety, production, quality, cost and asset reliability in heavy industry or manufacturing environments
• Strong leadership experience with demonstrated ability to build, develop and lead high-performing teams
• Sound understanding of asset management, maintenance strategies and plant reliability principles
• Financial and commercial acumen with experience managing operational budgets
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and data-driven decision-making capability
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Degree in Engineering, Technical, Manufacturing or equivalent qualification
